Filter Scores by Threshold

Each record has name and numeric score. Use a Pandas condition to return the names whose score is greater than or equal to minimum, in original row order. Include the boundary value and retain duplicate names. Empty input or no matches returns an empty list.

Difficulty: beginner

Show hint

Construct the DataFrame with columns=["name", "score"] so empty input works. Select the name Series with df.loc[df["score"] >= minimum, "name"], then use tolist().

Examples

  • [[{"name":"Asha","score":80},{"name":"Ben","score":79},{"name":"Mina","score":95}],80]["Asha","Mina"]
